SCR GM Conducts Inspection of Hyderabad Division
SCR GM Arun Jain inspects Hyd division

Hyderabad: SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain conducted inspection of Hyderabad Division on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Lokesh Vishnoi,
Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division and other senior officials from both the Headquarters and Division throughout the inspection.
The General Manager carried out inspection from Mudkhed to Medchal and reviewed the safety aspects of tracks, signalling, newly installed electric traction systems, passenger amenities and further development plans.
He conducted a detailed inspection of Umri Railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities available. He also inspected the Station Master’s office and examined the station records. Further, he inspected the maintenance of tracks and other safety equipment at the station.
He interacted with the Track maintainers and enquired about their working conditions and safety practices being followed. The General Manager inspected Basar Railway station.
He reviewed the facilities and inspected the Station Master’s Office, working of ATVM Machines, One Station One Products Stall (OSOP) and circulating area of the station. He also reviewed the progress of on-going station redevelopment works at Basar undertaken as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) with a cost of Rs11.33 crore. He advised the officials to further speed up the works so as to complete the project as targeted.
He also inspected Godavari Railway Bridge and examined the maintenance and safety aspects. Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Nizamabad Railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities. He reviewed the redevelopment plans of Nizamabad Railway station which are being taken up with an expenditure of Rs53.3 crore. He also inspected the Running room and crew booking lobby at the station and enquired with the staff members regarding the facilities available. He also inspected the Accident Relief Train at the station.
The General Manager and senior officials participated in a tree plantation program towards promotion of greener environment at the station. Arun Kumar Jain proceeded onto Kamareddy Railway station, where he inspected the station premises and OSOP stall. He also reviewed the redevelopment work undertaken at
Kamareddi station with a cost of Rs39.9 crore as part of ABSS. He examined the safety procedures and guidelines being followed while carrying out construction works. He also inspected Gate No. 238 in Kamareddy section and interacted with the Gateman and track maintainers. Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Manoharabad Railway station and inspected the station master’s office, circulating area and station façade.
The General Manager inspected Medchal Railway station, he reviewed the passenger amenities and inspected the station façade and circulating area. He also inspected the progress of on-going station redevelopment works being taken up with a cost of Rs. 8.37 crore. During the inspection, the General Manager received representations from various public representatives pertaining to Rail developments in the region.
